Simone currently serves as the Head of Vocal Pedagogy at the Universität der Künste Berlin. Simone reveals the inner workings of the voice with clarity, helping singers develop a more sophisticated relationship with their instrument.

Since establishing her Berlin teaching practice in 2014, Simone has attracted a diverse range of students, reflecting her versatility as an educator. Her exceptional diagnostic abilities enable her to quickly identify the underlying causes of vocal difficulties, providing tangible solutions.

Simone's fascination with vocal pedagogy began shortly after she began her studies. Completing a Bachelor and Master of Music under Maree Ryan at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Simone completed a Graduate Diploma under Edith Wiens at Juilliard. Upon graduation, her interest in vocal pedagogy evolved with an intensive period of private study with world-renowned vocal pedagogue and researcher Helen Tiller. This training, combined with her international studies, enhances her teaching with distinctive insights into multilingual repertoire and stylistic traditions. Her teaching philosophy addresses both the physiological demands and interpretive challenges of professional singing across a diverse musical landscape.

Students particularly value how every technical adjustment suggested deliberately connects to broader expressive possibilities, creating an integrated approach to vocal development that serves opera singers from Germany's major houses, as well as jazz, pop, and musical theatre performers.
